Basic information
Saw some reports about slow performance on Medium, so I decided to look into it. Opened the top article on Medium's "Popular on Medium" page and loaded it in Fenix and in Bromite. Bromite loaded the page in ~17 seconds and Fenix loaded it in ~30.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Navigate to https://medium.com/topic/popular
- Tap https://elemental.medium.com/theres-good-news-about-your-immune-system-and-the-coronavirus-7d2c1fc976c1?source=topic_page---------------------------20
Expected Results:
As fast as (or faster) than Bromite.
Actual Results:
Almost 2x as slow as Bromite.

Asif, when you say "loaded", do you mean the throbber animation stopped or that there are no visual changes on the page?

But at least the big picture should be painted way sooner.
