Environment:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 81.0a1 (2020-08-20)
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

Prerequisites:

  1. Create a fresh Firefox profile.
  2. Facebook account is available.
  3. Make sure extensions.webcompat.enable_shims is set to true in about:config.
  4. Enable ETP - Strict.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to https://www.rottentomatoes.com/
  2. Click "Log In" button.
  3. Click "Log in with Facebook" button.
  4. After Facebook popup is displayed type in valid credentials and click "Log In".
  5. Proceed with the authorization process and wait until the popup is dismissed.
  6. After returning observe behavior.

Expected result:
Login with Facebook is performed, user is signed in.

Actual result:
Login with Facebook is not performed.

**Note: **

  1. Screenshot attached.
  2. The issue is not reproducible with ETP - Standard.

The issue is also reproducible on mobile devices.

Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 200901(🦎 82.0a1-20200829091226)
Operating System: OnePlus6 (Android 10) - 1080 x 2280 pixels (~402 ppi pixel density)

Fixed by our Facebook login shim (riding the release trains on desktop Firefox as of bug 1703829).
