User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0
Steps to reproduce:
When I open email in new tab, the tab is placed at the end of the tabs.
I would like to change this so that newly created tab is always placed next to currently selected tab.
Similar to Firefox about:config options:
browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent
browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent

Thanks, that RFE makes perfect sense to me. Different users, different needs - my creed!
Some would want their messages lined up in order of appearance (oldest first, latest at the end), others with more messages open will get perfectly annoyed when their latest message opens somewhere far down the line and maybe scrolls the 3-pane tab out of view, so it does make perfect sense to want latest stuff to open next to current tab, which pushes oldest messages out of screen rather than newest.
