User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0
Steps to reproduce:
Since https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1638011 , Webrender seems to get disabled with any single display configuration that is >60Hz, even when the most powerful graphics cards are installed.
There are numerous reports that Webrender works better for most users with dedicated GPU. It doesn't make sense to punish them due to other users' slow Intel GPUs.
Actual results:
Webrender gets disabled for even 1440p 75Hz on Windows with e.g. a RTX 2080 Ti or RX 5700 XT, while Firefox 81 enables Webrender by default for many ultra low power Android mobile devices with 1440p 60Hz.
Expected results:
Enable Webrender by default for e.g. up to 144Hz on dedicated GPUs.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

It seems reasonable that smaller screens or more powerful GPUs would allow us to run at a higher refresh rate. Jim, should this be on our roadmap?

We should probably not do this on Nvidia because of bug 1638709

I fixed the NVIDIA blocking as part of bug 1672464.
