Steps to reproduce:

When forwarding a message and deleting contents of a graphics box, the empty box remains and cannot be deleted.

Actual results:

Empty graphics box remains embedded in message and cannot be deleted.

Expected results:

It should also be deleted.

I cannot reproduce this with beta on Mac

If I am forwarding this message and delete an image. The box containing that image remains.

Clicking the little "x" between the up and down carets removes the box.

Tested with 78.4.0 on Ubuntu 18.04 Linux.

Brad, do you have those control items in the emails you are trying to forward?
