After watching compacting folders reduce the size of them by nearly 70%, I thought to myself "wouldn't it be great if it could be done for me on exit"? Well, here's an RFE, since I couldn't find anything...

We already have auto-compact that can be turned on by pref, so I think we are not going to need this.
