Steps to reproduce:

After installing and setting up a fresh Thunderbird 78 with calender and tasks loaded from CalDAV tried to change the column width in main window's today pane tasks lists. Tasks list set to showing "Title" and "Due in" columns.

Actual results:

In all older Thunderbird releases before 78 you can change the widths of the columns in the tasks list by moving the separator between two columns. This is impossible since Thunderbird 78 and later (happens also in 78.3.1).

Expected results:

It should necessarily be possible to change the column widths - not only in message pane, but also in tasks list. It works as expected in the tasks tab, but not in the task list in the today pane (main window).

Without the possibility to change the column width while e.g. showing "Title" and "Due in" columns, you can't read the title because it's cut after some characters while the "Due in" fields wasts a lot of space without nothing else than emptiness...
