Steps to reproduce:
Visit html5test.com or apple.com
Scroll using mouse wheel
Scrolling using touchpad
Actual results:
Firefox beats chromium(will be ref as chrome) when scrolling by a single mouse wheel tick. Its smoother than chrome which tend of abruptly stop.
When scrolled by multiple ticks Chrome tends to feel far smoother as if there are more FPS involved.
Similar case with touchpad. On short swipes, Firefox is far superior and smoother than Chrome.
One longer swipes though Firefox remains the smoothness king its scroll far less distance than chrome
Expected results:
Mouse Scrolling could be more smooth while scrolling by multiple ticks
Touch Pad Scrolling could cover longer distance on longer swipes

On Firefox with Wayland, I think scrolling by touchpad is much smoother than Chromium (with Wayland). I do feel scrolling by mouse wheel (to be precise, it's by lenovo's trackpoint) smoother than Chromium as well.
I am going to close this bug, please feel free reopening if someone doesn't agree on.
