Details
There doesn't seem to be a way to open a previously created link in a message being written in the composer.
Steps to reproduce:
- Write an HTML email with some links to some web pages somewhere.
- Try to open one of the links in the usual ways.
Expected:
- Some obvious way to open the link in a web browser.
Actual:
- Single click has no effect, and it probably should not since this is an editor, not a browser.
- Double click opens the link properties. Makes sense.
- Nothing in the context menu that opens the link either.
Why?
- Make sure the link is right before sending?
- It's a draft email the user is coming back to and they need to have the page open to finish the email

+1, absolutely. Also to verify links before sending.
I've advocated for this before, and many others.
