Steps to reproduce:

When creating filters for emails on one thunderbird client. They aren't available in another.

Actual results:

At the moment there is no way to sync email filters between clients

Expected results:

It would be nice when the filters can be synched by multiple thunderbird clients, like firefox does with the tabs.

It might be difficult to sync filters which refer to elements outside the local server namespace (since the expected elements may not exist on different clients), but perhaps filters could have the option to be be stored in an imap folder if they only refer to the local name space.

This might be generalised to other config options, such as folder sort defaults, email aliases etc and would have to be flagged for a manual sync.
