The macOS-specific UA override added in bug 1682238 should be shipped to release users via the SAO update mechanism.

To verify that the .xpi works:

1. Download [ToDo: Find an unbranded macOS aarch64 build] and verify that the issue described in bug 1680516 still reproduces. If the issue does not reproduce, stop here and ping me.
2. Open about:config, create a new boolean preference with the key xpinstall.signatures.dev-root and set it to true.
3. Install the webcompat-v17.0.1.dep-signed.xpi attached to this bug.
4. Verify the bug on that gaming site again - it should now be resolved.

We decided not to ship this as a SAO, and just have the patch ride along the next dot release.

There are too many new moving parts that needed to be worked out first, and I don't want to do that this close to everyone's vacation.
