This is a bit hard to explain. If you select a message lower in the list of messages, then right click on a new message above and choose "Delete Message", it looks like the wrong message gets deleted. The correct message is in fact deleted, but the list box is redrawn incorrectly so that it looks like the wrong one is. The message immeadiatly above your selected message is removed from the list, but the item you right clicked on remains. The next time the list is redrawn, it is redrawn correctly: the missing message is back and the one you deleted is gone. I am going to attach 3 screenshots to better explain what I mean: 1) The message "Glengarry..." is selected. I right click on "Today 4pm..." and choose Delete Message from the context menu. 2) The message "Today 4pm..." is still there, but the message "Re: DLM..." is missing. 3) I force the list to be redrawn. Now "Today 4pm..." is gone as it should be and "Re: DLM..." is there as it should be.

verified 1.3a (2002121215) on Win2K. In my case, the message that incorrectly vanishes from the list ("Re: DLM" in the example) is not always the one immediately above the selected message ("Glengarry" in the example), but it's always someplace above it.
looks like a dupe of bug 142065. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 142065 ***
