We made a few changes to how bookmarks are being managed in 85 which require updates to our docs for when 85 ships.
Recommended changes:
- Update shortcuts on https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly#w_bookmarks as follows:
Ctrl+Shift+O to open the bookmarks library
Ctrl+Shift+B to toggle showing the bookmarks toolbar - On https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/bookmarks-firefox:
--- Under "How do I find my bookmarks?" we should specify that for new users, bookmarks are placed by default on the bookmarks toolbar
--- Under "How to turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar" we should specify that users can access it by opening the new tab or using the toolbar context menu with Bookmarks toolbar>Always show to always enable the bookmarks toolbar
--- We should add a section "How do I import bookmarks from another browser or profile". The bookmarks toolbar now includes a button allowing to open the data import dialogue (if bookmark import was not run before, for new users only with less than 3 bookmarks on the toolbar only, button disappears upon import). Another way to achieve this is through pressing "Alt" on windows and then pressing File > import from another browser.

This has already happened. :-)

"Other Bookmarks" is no longer the default folder location for saving a new bookmark (bug 1665389). It's now the last used folder (bug 1432604).
I have a revision pending to the "How do I organize my bookmarks?" section of https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/bookmarks-firefox but other changes may be needed. Angela, can you review?
