Affected Versions:

• All latest Firefox versions using force enable (Nightly 86, Beta RC 85.0, Release 84.0.2)

Tested on:

• MacOS 10.15
• Windows 10 x64

Prerequisites:

• browser.search.region FR
• extensions.formautofill.supportedCountries FR
• download latest Firefox Nightly with region locale (switch extensions.formautofill.available to "on" for testing non-Nightly builds)

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Launch Firefox
2. Go to and reach the payment form for fr.aliexpress.com
3. Choose to fill in any CC entry from any field
4. Fill in manually new CC info and submit the form

Expected Results:
Expiry Date should be correctly autofilled with the requested format MM/YY (ex: 08/23)
Credit Card Save doorhanger should be displayed upon form submit

Actual Results:
The expiry date autofill will incorrectly fill in the 4 digits of the expiry year, ex: 2023 -> 20/23, thus being rejected by the field validation
Credit Card Save doorhanger is not displayed upon form submit

Notes:

• Severity: S3

• Reproducible on Chrome?: No - expiry date format
  Yes - Capture doorhanger missing

• Regression-range: reproducible on all latest versions, this site was never tested before, can look for regression-range if need be

Tested with latest Nightly 96.0a1 (2021-11-03) using Windows 10 and macOS 10.15 and I can confirm that this issue is fixed by bug 1687681. The date format is correct.
