on this site, try typeaheadfinding some of the text in the ticker in the frame
in the top right corner. Watch the selection highlight box march across the
screen beyond the boundary of the ticker in amazement!

also happen on almost every british government site, since they nearly all have
that frame.

Confirming with a CVS build from today and Debian Linux/i386.

Maybe bug 9809 also plays a role here.

Yes, this is bug 9809 at work, because I don't have to use typeaheadfind to make
it happen. You can also see the bug when you focus one of the ticker links  by
another means, e.g. by click and dragging it or right clicking on it.
