User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:86.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/86.0

Steps to reproduce:

Pin an addon with large interface in overflow menu (e.g : dns checker, whatruns that add horizontal scroll to compensate that)

Actual results:

When click on an addon with large interface, like dns checker, a part of interface is not visible.
The totality of the interface is visible only when zooming out on the addon's interface

Expected results:

All the interface of the addon must be visible, without zooming or scrolling. Because It's visible if the addon

Hi Knoclar,

I added the same add on, used FF86 on win10 like you, and it works as you expect. Can it be the theme or the profile? Can you please do two simple tests:

  1. Does this happen with the default theme?

  2. Does this issue occur with a fresh profile? you can find the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Thanks in advance, Flor.

Hello,

I reproduced the issue on the latest Nightly (88.0a1/20210304215542), Beta (87.0b6/20210304190020) and Release (86.0/20210222142601) under Windows 10 x64 and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, using the “DNS Checker” add-on.

As mentioned in the original description, large panels of add-ons pinned to the overflow menu are cropped, as shown in the original screenshot. The whole content can be viewed by zooming out on the add-ons’ panel. There is no possibility of horizontal scrolling.

When the add-on is NOT pinned to the overflow menu, the whole panel content is displayed with the possibility of horizontal scrolling.

The used theme does not seem to have an influence over the occurrence of the issue. Tried with the default themes and several custom themes on new profiles.
