Steps to reproduce:

Update Firefox from v85 to V86 on LINUX UBUNTU

Actual results:

The screen within Firefox86 is full of parasites. See the attached copy screen.

Expected results:

a simple update.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Graphics' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

As this is on the r600 driver it's likely a duplicate of bug 1679681 which unintentionally got fixed in bug 1694909. Vitaly, could you test if things are fixed on nightly / FF 88 for you?

I have downloaded https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/88.0a1/releasenotes/, bug does not reproducing in this version.

Thanks! Marking as duplicate of bug 1679681 then. You can work around the issue be setting gfx.webrender.force-disabled:true in about:config.

Andrew, looks like this bug affects Mesa r600 users on 86-87. Can we block WR for that driver until 88? Thanks!
