Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Firefox
2. Access Jetlag page

Expected result

• Scrolling via mousewheel or touchpad is possible

Actual result

• Only dragging through pages work

Regression range

• Will see for a regression

Additional notes

• Firefox Nightly 88.0a1 is not affected
• macOS 10.15.7 doesn't seem affected at all

Did the site change? I just tested on Windows and it seems to be working fine for me.

The site seems to be the same and still reproducible on Windows.

Have you tried on 88.0a1? This only reproduces on 87.0bx which doesn't have "dom.event.wheel-deltaMode-lines.disabled:true" by default. Please let me know if you can reproduce it. Thank you!

Yeah, I tested in nightly. If flipping that pref fixes it we should get this bug to depend on whatever bug is filed for tracking flipping the pref on by deflault.

Bug 1392460 is resolved fixed, don't we need a bug to track enabling it by default?

Do I understand correctly, that this bug only affects 87, not 88? (If so, we'll probably close it as WONTFIX, unless Emilio would like to uplift bug 1696384 to 87.)

Yes, 88 is not affected, only 87 and below are affected.
