RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1541465

People

(Reporter: bugs, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Steps to reproduce:

I started a webserver on [::1]:8000, opened it in firefox, rightclicked and clicked the "Take screenshot" context item to take a screenshot of the page.

Actual results:

Firefox shows a notification popup with some text and "Error: Not a URL"

Expected results:

I should be able to take a screenshot. This is working correctly when running the webserver on 127.0.0.1:8000 so it seems to be specifically about the ipv6 origin.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Screenshots' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.
