User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Opened the Menu from the upper-right corner of the browser.
- Followed the steps to verify if shortcuts displayed (in Spanish) worked as expected.
- Pressed CTRL + Mayúsc. + P to open a New Private Window.
Pressed CTRL + Mayúsc. + Q to exit. - Followed the same steps for all shortcuts displayed in Menu.
- Verified the steps in another laptop which was set in English.
- Reproduced the steps in English CTRL + Shift + P.
Actual results:
The keyboard shortcuts (Spanish) did not work as expected.
CTRL + Mayúsc. + P : Print Window was opened, instead of a New Private Window.
CTRL + Mayúsc. + Q: nothing happened. But when pressing CTRL + Shift + Q= MemoQ window was opened, instead of exiting as expected when following English shortcut instructions (instead of using Mayúsc., used shift).
Even though the keyboard and the language were set in Spanish, shortcuts could be only performed by following the steps in English (CTRL + SHIFT + (letter). In Spanish (as displayed in the menu), the shortcuts didn't work as expected (CTRL + SHIFT + (letter). I had to do research on other ways of using shortcuts.
Expected results:
Keyboard shortcuts (Spanish) displayed in the menu next to each option should have worked as expected.
Example: CTRL + Mayúsc. + P to open a New Private Window.
CTRL + Mayúsc. + Q to exit.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Keyboard Navigation' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Which key did you press when you say "instead of using Mayúsc."? I have the feeling you used the "Bloq Mayús".
"Mayúsc." seems like the correct translation for the shift button in Spanish, looking also at Microsoft glossaries.
Yes. You're right. I pressed "Bloq Mayús"/"Caps lock" when trying to follow the spanish shortcut instructions. Shift is the right spanish translation for Mayúsc., so in both spanish and english keyboards, the key shift (↑) should be used.
No bug detected then.
Thanks.
