Details

(Whiteboard: [foxfooding] [community] [proton-foxfooding])

Firefox Version: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Window Size (inner width and height): 1009x726

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a website that has reader mode capabilities (e.g. getpocket.com/explore/item/ants-go-marching?utm_source=pocket-newtab-intl-en)
  2. Enable reader mode for this tab
  3. Open a new tab and start typing the URL of the first one in the address bar (e.g. "getpocket.com")

Expected Behavior

The title of the tab in reader mode shows up with a "Switch to Tab" mention displayed next to it.

Actual Behavior

Instead of the short title of the tab, "about:reader?url=..." followed by the entire escaped URL is displayed, effectively hiding the "Switch to Tab" mention on a small enough window size.
