Steps to reproduce:

upon opening DISNEY/NETFLIX/CANAL+ Widevine plug-in is crashing...not allowing videos to be played

Actual results:

plug-in crashes, this just started with the newest update

Expected results:

this just started with the newest update

Can we get the previous version of widevine 4.10.2209.1? Cause on April19th, all was ok.

If you're experiencing the same issue as in bug 1706393, please follow up in that bug so we can track the issues in one place. If you're also on MacOS 10.9 it would be useful to know. The old version of Widevine will be discontinued during May so we cannot revert back to it.

Yes, same OS 10.9.5, does widevine latest update works fine with 78.10 of april 19th? Is there any possibilities to find and install manually the previous version of widevine? Its weird to tell yourself your computer is now obselete despite is working perfectly well and everything was ok 2 days ago..

I've confirmed with Widevine they're not supporting MacOS versions earlier than 10.11.

I wouldn't recommend trying to roll back different components as you expose yourself to security risks -- though it may be possible to do something like use an older version of ESR. While I appreciate it's frustrating to have functionality stop to work, MacOS 10.9 has not been supported by Apple for more than 4 years now, so there is a natural deprecation from other vendors as well.
