User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.14; rv:87.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/87.0

Steps to reproduce:

Tried to remove a bookmark.

Actual results:

Clicked the blue star. No option to remove the bookmark.

Checked the main menu. No "Remove this Bookmark" and "Edit this Bookmark" opens the same menu as the blue star.

It's probably loading off-screen and unreachable. The last line on-screen is "Show editor when saving."

Opened the bookmarks toolbar, tried to drag-and-drop the relevant entry to the trash. No effect.

The only workaround seems to be via the history menu.

Expected results:

A "Remove this Bookmark" option in the main menu, under "Bookmarks," would work around this.

Isn't there an edit and remove command in the context menu of that bookmark?

I double checked the context menu on items in the bookmark toolbar:

  • On 88 (current release), there's a "Remove" command.
  • On 89 and later, there are both "Edit bookmark" and "Edit bookmark".

This seems to work as expected.

I double checked in 88.

There is no "Remove" command.

The only thing below "Show editor when saving" is the edge of the screen. If I could show that in a screenshot, I would.

Screenshot. Note that I'm am using Andika and larger font sizes, because standard fonts and standard font sizes make things harder, sometimes impossible to read. Screen is 11" diagonal.

"Remove" is in the context menu when right clicking a bookmark in the toolbar. That's was an answer to

This should be fixed in Firefox 89+ due to bug 1702298, which allows the panel to scroll if it reaches the screen boundaries. Can you confirm in Beta or Nightly, MarjaE?

Yes, I get the scrollbar in Nightly.
