Steps how to reproduce with installation of unofficial (by wg9s) De SeaMonkey 2.53.8 beta 1 pre Mozilla/5.0 (NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 Build 20210227220003 (Newly created User Profile, Default Classic Theme) on German WIN7 64bit:

1. Open Help
2. Search Help for string "Signaturen & Verschlüsselung"
3. Open hit "Signieren & und Verschlüsseln von Nachrichten"
4. Try link "Introduction to Public-Key Cryptography"

The current address of that page appears to be https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Archive/Security/Introduction_to_Public-Key_Cryptography. As this is more extensive than the one you linked in bug 1634928 comment 8, it may be better to link to this one?

(This also affects en-US help, search for "Signing & Encrypting Messages", last link before "How digital signatures work".)

In Bug 1634928 I erroneously pointed to
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Glossary/Public-key_cryptography
which ist more appropriate here.

But Nuno's link leads to a better text for an introduction

I used https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Introduction_to_Public-Key_Cryptography instead, which leads to the same location and is already used in ssl_help.xhtml.

Besides en-US and de, the following lang packs are also affected: en-GB, es-ES, es-AR, pl, sk.

In some of these lang packs, ssl_help.xhtml also has the broken URL. (For sk, it's "only" in this file, as mailnews_security.xhtml is not localized).

I think it was heavily inspired by Netscape Server product documentation.
