I've seen this over at least a couple days, see the screenshot.
I'm not quite sure what triggers this, it smells like some code is misparsing the headers or something, as contain-intrinsic-size: auto
looks like it could be interpreted as an email header.

Maybe I don't have sharp enough eyes, but I don't see anything wrong in that screenshot?

In the email list (at the very top of the image) the title is just [...] [...] Only apply
, while at the bottom the subject is [...] [...] Only apply contain-intrinsic-size: auto with content-visibility: auto
.

Ah I see now. Could be from bug 1710213?

Reporter, is this daily version?
Probably doesn't matter, but are you showing "all" or just "normal" headers?
Does this happen on all emails or just certain ones?
Can probably tell more if you attach the output of "Show source" for a problem email, an *.eml file.

Normal
Does this happen on all emails or just certain ones?
Only some of them.

Sure, will do :)

Thanks for the file. I dragged it to an imap account and the message subject looks OK. This is with my personal "daily" build that is somewhat behind the true daily build. So I downloaded today's daily and it works OK too on a couple of imap servers.
Interesting that I do see a "fold" on the subject line in the file between "apply" and "contain-intrinsic-size:" but don't see a display problem.
If you hold the mouse over the truncated subject, do you maybe see the full subject pop up? Also, it's possible that the "missing" part is covered up due to the column widths; but you should see ... if that's the case.
Also, before I received your file, I created and sent a message with the same full subject as yours and it worked OK.
I see you are maybe on proton mail. Are you using their local imap server? Do you see the problem on other imap servers if you copy the message to other server(s)? Is the problem server specific I guess I'm asking. (I had a "free" trial account on PM's local imap server but I think it has expired.)

It's definitely not column-width related, fwiw. And yeah, I'm on protonmail with the local bridge.

Ok, that's what I expected.
My PM bridge has expired so I can't test with it without paying or begging for a new trial account.
Have you tried copying the bad email to another account and see if it looks OK there?
Or if you only have the PM account, what happens if you copy the .eml file you sent me (attached above) back to a folder on the PM account? You can drag and drop it on a folder to do the "copy".

Also, do you have offline storage for the folder where the message with the bad subject resides? I.e., do you just let tb store the headers and leave the message bodies on the server? Right click the folder and check property synchronization to tell for sure.

Still unable to duplicate the exact problem as reported. However, a couple weeks ago I did see a similar problem with a promotional email received from mozilla with the subject "What's an IP Address?". The email arrived OK but the subject in the summary line was totally blank.
At the time it arrived I was not able to determine why it occurred and still haven't while looking at this bug. I suspect they are related.
Edit addendum: Reporter Emilio, do you ever see this on old emails that have been sitting around in folders that at one time displayed the correct subject, or do you only see this on newly arrived emails?

I don't recall seeing this in old emails. FWIW I also haven't seen this recently (though the emails in comment 8 still have the cropped title).

Specifically
Subject: [mozilla/wg-decisions] [css-sizing-4] Only apply
contain-intrinsic-size: auto with content-visibility: auto (#547)
We've seen this behavior before. For example bug 1454257.
However, using 91.0b5, I also can't reproduce the display issue - it displays fine for me.
