User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20020920 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.2b) Gecko/20020920 the mail pane reduces the size of mail correctly, putting leftover surface in gray, but the views upper left corner of the mail starts above the upper left corner of mail pane. You cannot correct, because the slider is away now. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open a mail 2. chose a mail content pane size to have a slider 3. delete the end of mail, but enough that the whole content will fit in the pane now Actual Results: the text is deleted correctly the white region with mail content moves up beyond the upper border of content pane and You cannot read the start of mail anymore Slider is gone now since content would fit Expected Results: just place the white region of mail content correct into the mail pane ;-)
Maybe Bug 168827 is in some way related to this?
Hi Frank, looks pretty the same to mine. Didn't find it with my search items. Some additions: - I think, the failure that I described, just needs correct view-point-origin coordinates before the refresh - There is workaround: just put cursor in white content region and get up :-) - My description is always reproducable, if using this modification of step 1 1a. Open a new mail 1b. Copy in from clipboard some other email content, but enough stuff
Ok, this is the same as my bug, duping this bug then. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 168827 ***
