User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open Application Menu on Fedora 34 (GNOME, Wayland).
Actual results:
Text labels in menu are a bit more jagged than same sized text in other menus.
Expected results:
Text in Application Menu should look the same as in other menus. Take a look at attached screenshot and compare how "New Tab" label looks on Application Menu (left) and tab context menu (right). Right one looks smoother, while left one has visible jagged diagonal lines and some straight lines look blurry.
Upon closer inspection it appears that Application Menu labels are rendered without Subpixel Antialiasing, as zoomed in they have only gray pixels, as opposed to few colored pixels that gives better antialiased look on LCD screen.

I was able to reproduce this issue on latest Nightly 91.0a1 (2021-06-15)(64-bit), Beta 90.0b7, and Release 89.0 on Ubuntu 20.04. I'll change flags accordingly. The Severity suggested is S3.

Does this affect Windows and/or macOS as well?
Did this happen prior to proton (e.g. in 78 esr, or Firefox 88) ?

I would think it happens only on Ubuntu. I will attach images of Windows and macOS as well as ESR on Ubuntu to have more visibility.

If it's the same issue as on Win10 (bug 1712991) it might also affect other panels and tabs.
