User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/89.0.4389.128 Safari/537.36 OPR/75.0.3969.285
Steps to reproduce:
I have a screen connected to my laptop via HDMI port. The screen width/height/resolution is bigger than the laptops internal screen. I would like to use the Firefox on the smaller screen. I launch the Firefox with the latest version updated and it shows up as attached.
Actual results:
When I click on the menu icon, or any icon, it shows as a scaled down version of the overlay. and a scrollbar appears on menu. its very inconvenient and discourages me to use Firefox. This does not happen in other competitor browsers.
Expected results:
Menu (and all other icons) should be visible fully despite having different screens to display. They shouldn't scale themselves to the biggest screen, but to the current screen.
This is proof I'm running latest Firefox, I even tried Developers Edition, but it seems to happen there as well.
I made this report on another browser, the actual user agent is : Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0

Hey bgucer,
I tried reproducing this issue on the latest versions of Firefox Nightly 91.0a1 (2021-06-27), 90.0b12 and release 89.0.1 but the menu is unchanged for me.
Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .

Hi bgucer, does the video in bug 1718720 comment 3 reflect your experience? This might be a dupe of that one.
