Linux (1999-10-25-08 M11)
Win32  (1999-10-25-09 M11)
Steps:
1. Launch Messenger
2. From the Edit menu, select Preferences
3. When the References dialog comes up, the right pane shows Appearence
4. Click on any item in the Category list, including Mail and News, Addressing,
Message ...

Actual result: No response, the right pane does not refresh

Expected result: It should refresh to show the Addressing pane,( or Message
pane) etc...

This occurs on Win_nt as well

Unable to test today's Mac.  It works on the previous Mac build.

Right. It applies to all items listed in the Category.
