I can reproduce in Nightly 92 and Firefox 90.
Chrome has an intervention to not add pages to session history unless user interacts with them.

Is that different than bug 1515073?

(In reply to Jeff Muizelaar [:jrmuizel] from comment #2)
Is that different than bug 1515073?
That is the right feature, but the pref browser.navigation.requireUserInteraction
is currently disabled due to some webcompat problems:
Looks like the meta bug to ship the intervention is bug 1645211.

This looks fixed to me on the Latest Nightly build 132.0a1 across platforms (Windows 11, macOS 13 and Ubuntu 22.04) using the website from comment 0.

Verified as fixed on Android as well, on the latest Nightly 132.0a1 from 05.09.2024 using Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (Android 14).
