STR: follow a link to https://www.bing.com/maps?q=N4K+postal+code and then hit the back button.

In Firefox it stays on bing maps, in Chrome it goes back.

Blocks: backtraps

I can reproduce in Nightly 92 and Firefox 90.

Chrome has an intervention to not add pages to session history unless user interacts with them.

Is that different than bug 1515073?

Is that different than bug 1515073?

That is the right feature, but the pref browser.navigation.requireUserInteraction is currently disabled due to some webcompat problems:

https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/rev/73330bf7355c0aef844c41d0d7eed2848e53c82f/modules/libpref/init/StaticPrefList.yaml#1162-1165

Looks like the meta bug to ship the intervention is bug 1645211.

Depends on: 1645211

browser.navigation.requireUserInteraction has been re-enabled as per bug 1734181.
