Search only in current bookmark folder?

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
A longstanding frustration I have had with Firefox is that I may want to sort my results by what is present in a folder (say, I have numerous OpenWrt docs saved, but only the ones relating to Atheros are needed right now, and I've saved them in a particular bookmarks folder seperate from my Ramips ones). It's a contrived example, but I actually had to do that recently, and it happens in general a lot more than I build router firmware.
Actual results:
Unfortunately, search currently searches across all bookmarks even when I type a search query and I am currently viewing a folder.
Expected results:
I would like the ability to search only the selected folder (and child folders) on beginning a search, rather than all bookmarks. I do not know whether it would be best to do this by default (with an option to search everywhere instead), always search the current folder (and subdirectories), or to search everything by default but with the added, alternate option to search a folder instead.
I don't see this working in the bookmarks toolbar or the URL/Search bar, but the Sidebar and Bookmarks Library could both potentially use it. The Library is probably the most straightforward as far as UX goes, since the user can physically open folders there, but potentially the the Sidebar could let the user search in any folders they have selected there?
I've tried searching for similar issues, but I didn't see any, so I'm submitting this. I apologize if it does turn out to be a dupe.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::Bookmarks & History' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.
