Details
(Whiteboard: [Addon: CardBook])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:89.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/89.0
Steps to reproduce:
Search for a word which results in no found messages in the quick filter / quick search field.
Actual results:
A popup opened saying pressing Enter would open the global search.
Typing any key, even pressing backspace, opens the global search in a new tab. This is very annoying!
Expected results:
Only pressing Enter should open the global search.

Wfm on 78.12.0 (32-bit), Win10.
It's most likely caused by one of your addons, have seen such before.
Try ≡ > Help > Restart with Addons Disabled… - this bug will disappear.

Johannes, CardBook would be suspect #1... please confirm if you're using that?

Based on the pretty unique symptoms, tentatively duping to Bug 1711558.
Yes, I use CardBook. With disabled extensions there was no bug. Thanks for the hint, I didn't find bug 1711558 when filing this one.
