User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/92.0.4515.131 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

  • start fx 91 with a new profile
  • set browser.proton.enabled = false
  • open settings

Actual results:

checked checkboxes are rendered unchecked

Expected results:

should be checked

The pref is still there and will be for a year, why should it be left in such a broken state? This isn't a subjective style issue, the checkboxes are functionally broken.

We're not fixing bugs with proton.enabled=false at this point.

I saw that the first time. I asked:

Running with browser.proton.enabled set to false is not a supported configuration. It is to be expected that things could be in a broken state when running software in unsupported configurations. This is one of those situations.
