1726006 - In MailNews, opening a Calendar tab closes the Message Pane in the Mail tab

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 SeaMonkey/2.53.8.1

Steps to reproduce:

1. In MailNews, enable Message Pane in View -> Layout
2. Click on the root folder of an email account, the one that displays "Read Messages, Compose a new message, etc"
3. Click Events and Tasks -> Calendar to open a new Calendar tab
4. Close the Calendar tab, or switch back to the Mail tab and click on Inbox, or another email folder.

Actual results:

The Message Pane is no longer there and must be selected again in View -> Layout

Expected results:

The Message Pane setting should be remembered

This also fixes the following issue, STR:
1/ Have two different accounts set up
2/ Configure "Switch to new tabs when opened" to true
3/ Select a message in the first account
4/ Right click on a folder in the second account and select "Open in New Tab"

Expected result:
1/ Folder opens in new tab
2/ Folder from new tab is selected in folder pane
3/ Tab / mail window displays folder name from new tab

Actual result:
1/ Folder opens in new tab
2/ Folder from 1st tab is selected in folder pane
3/ Tab / mail window displays folder name from 1st tab
