User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0
Steps to reproduce:
Use strg+Shift+B for opening the address book in the main windows: works.
Using the same shortcut in Message Compose Window: doesn't work.
Expected results:
Using Strg+Shift+B should open the address book in Message Compose Window.
In earlier versions, the shortcut worked also in the message compose window.

Ctrl+Shift+B is now "show bcc". The old shortcut was not advertised anywhere I guess.
Going forward, address book will be in a tab (only).

Not sure if this can be considered a regression since we knowingly decided to change the shortcut and drop the address book one.

I guess we'll mark this wontfix.

Johannes, have you tried using Contacts Side Bar (F9) in the composition window, which provides a miniature version of your AB at your fingertips and highly efficient/convenient options to add multiple recipients to To/Cc/Bcc in one go?
Sorry we couldn't save that AB shortcut for composition because we decided that having Ctrl+Shift+B for show and focus bcc
is much more frequent and important as a use case, and we didn't have a choice on that shortcut either so as to be consistent with other apps and gmail. Given that composition has contacts side bar, maybe there's less need to go into the main AB window.
Thanks for replying and solving the issue!
@Thomas
yes, I use it anyway. But I use also sometimes the address book because of the better view from my contacts.
Then in the new version it's confusing that one shortcut has 2 functions…
Maybe (for the next version?) it's an idea to change the shortcut for the address book generally, so it's working for the main and the composing-window. Or to use another shortcuts for BBC and CC.
Whatever. I was really confused when I realized the shortcut works only in the main window…
Regards,
Joseph
