RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1734847

People

(Reporter: srrbvdwl, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0

Steps to reproduce:

I've a run filter which moves mail from an imap server. Some of the moved mails are corrupted (contain additional sometimes unreadable text) and subsequent mails are sometimes growing with bad text. It looks like it's incorporating the raw mailfile from the next source mail. This error is present in 93b1 and 93b2.

Actual results:

activating the run filter

Expected results:

mail should be copied without adding additonal text from the next messages

Component: Untriaged → Filters

The problem is also present in 94b3. The corrupted mails are looking like:
...
test

From - Mon Oct 18 12:05:56 2021
X-Mozilla-Status: 0001
X-Mozilla-Status2: 00000000
X-Mozilla-Keys:
....
There should only be test in this mail, but it also contains the mail headers of another mail.

or we see:
....

https://lists.xxxx.nl/listinfo/xxxxlog
&2r|u۝Ụ8j۬M5\3YZJ֭ʹM4M2V{+yǢ_SӃ뭸z8em}tk4]FOGN

So it's just adding corrupt lines behind the mail.
This is only true for mails which where moved from the imap server. Copied mails are not corrupted.

Rob, please report your results in a few days after using 95.0b4, which should ship in a few days. If the problem is gone, then this is bug 1734847
