You haven't, by change, hit "OK" on a previous dialog to activate pop-up
blocking have you?

It certainly behaves like a popup blocking related failure. Saari told me that
Chimera did not support the popup blocking. At any rate all I have done is
install .05 with default settings. Is this related to: bug 118517

er, that formerly branded version of Chimera didn't support popup blocking.
Chimera does however. Still needs more UI work, but you can certainly block
popups in Chimera

Popup blocking is exposed in the Chimera prefs now. Can someone retest this with
popup blocking turned off (to allow popups)?

Hmmm.. I haven't enabled popup blocking in Chimera and I still can't open the
second java window. Tested under 2002-12-03-05 NB under 10.2.2. Reopening.

I don't know what to say... I'm sitting here with a chess board infront of me. I
bothered to get a pogo account and all

That's strange. Clicking the Play or Watch button doesn't open the game play
window for me.

saari, how much memory is on your box? Could this be memory related?

I think if you handicap the memory you might see the failure

I met w/saari and the current steps to repro does in fact return the same result
(no game windowed displayed) on .60. (Saari was going strraight via the "Play
Game" button and got a fame window). Under today's trunk build we both crash
getting to the game room. Saari wrote a bug 184553 for this regression.

Marking this bug works for me. I have Apple's Java plugins (Java Applet Plugin
Enabler and Java Applet.plugin) installed with jvm 1.4.1. I have no problems
accessing any of the card games found at pogo.com. Tested with 2003-08-10-02 NB
under 10.2.6.
