Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Open thunderbird
- Make sure theme is set to "System theme"
- Change theme to dark mode
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme Adwaita-dark
- Change theme to light mode
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme Adwaita
Environment:
OS: Arch Linux
WM: sway (wayland)
Install method: package manager
Actual results:
When changing to a different theme, sometimes only part of the interface changes to the new theme and other parts stay their old color. This makes parts of the interface unreadable.
When changing to another theme and back to system theme the right colors are applied.
Expected results:
Thunderbird should dynamically change all interface elements to the respective theme.

From what I can see without setting up an acocunt, it seems to work great on 95.0a1.20211019-1. Thank you, I guess I'll wait for the release of the fix.

In thunderbird 91.5.0-1 on Arch Linux the fix seems to have landed (might have been the case earlier as well). Thanks.
