Left system up and running overnight, because it was trying to synch everything. Came back to this.

Looks like memory corruption. Is your hardware from 2012/2013?
Also, the report indicates last crash was 11 weeks, 23 hours ago. So:
- presumably not the same machine for which you reported Bug 1730411 five weeks ago? Crash in [@ shutdownhang | mozilla::net::nsHTTPCompressConv::Release]
- not something you can reproduce?

Most likely not the same machine. Hardware newer than that, but still "aged". I can try to reproduce by leaving Thunderbird running again overnight, trying to synch.

Thanks.

I don't see what this has to do with bug 1734843. Or for that matter bug 1733966.
What is the connection?

It was synchronizing overnight when it crashed.

Synchronizing again. Not going to wait for it to crash this time, though I'm sure it would if I waited.

Only one beta crash in last several months, so I think this signature is just a random occurrence that we are not going to connect to a clear bug. As such, there's nothing here to act on.

96.0b3 beta build has a major patch. So if you have any further crashes please CC me on a new bug report.
And if you have been seeing at least 2-3 crashes per week with Thunderbird, and that crash rate now goes to zero, I'd be interested in hearing that also.

Will do. Thunderbird has been pretty stable lately (knock on wood).
