User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0

Steps to reproduce:

Using ThB 91.1.2 (64 bits) => new inteface for ThB emails & calendar (ex-Lightning)
Component (more precisely) : Calendar entry visualization/editor (ex-Lightning)

  • Received a calendar invitation (Teams Meeting)
  • Accepted it
    [...later...]
  • Clicked on the entry to view the content (I wanted to get the link to connect to)

Actual results:

  • The content part it displayed as 'full plain text', thus, the meeting links are removed...

It seems the new interface uses the same "engine"/component to render the content of the calendar events as for rendering email content (as there is the same "background-not-respecting-dark-theme" bug).
I tried to change my preferences in "View > Message Body As", but the calendar entry remains in "full plein text", with no links.
As can be seen in right picture, when I edit the calendar entry in my provider's webapp, the links are there.

Expected results:

  • The links in the content should be displayed
  • Eventually, if for security reasons you do not want to put HTML in calendar events content, then you should either extract the links and display them as text (similarly to what is done with "View > As simplified HTML") or provide the user with a preferences to select ViewAs HTML/Simplified/PlainText as for email content.

duplicate, no?
