tested on 2002-10-09-08-1.0 Win XP. Pro JA Currently there is no info about relation between card and list in card side. In some case, a card is linked to more than one mailing list. Therefore in Card for pane, we need info which mailing list this card is linking to.
i don't think that the card should be linked to any mailing list, it could be a part of several mailing lists and that's the right design.

I found this Bug while looking for a Bug that is a Feature Request for the ability to show a Contact's mailing-list membership status - something like "is a member of the following lists:" .. in the member's Contact Card info. This Bug (as poorly as it was originally worded) seems to indicate a want for that info to be shown in the Card Summary Pane... I think. Will this Bug# do for what I want, or can someone point to an exisiting Bug for that if it is not. Either way, I 2nd the original suggestion.

I suggest extending this bug to ask for list membership info also when editing a card. In this case, the end of the title "in Card preview pane" can be dropped, and bug 756840 could be marked as duplicate of this bug.
