RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1739055

People

(Reporter: Rummskartoffel, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install Firefox 93.0 (Note: I was unable to trigger the bug if Firefox 94.0 was previously installed on the system. I used a fresh VM in order to reproduce it, you may have to do something of the sort as well.)
  2. On about:preferences#home, set http://example.org as a custom home page
  3. Close Firefox
  4. Upgrade Firefox to 94.0
  5. Start Firefox
  6. Click on the "Home" button in the toolbar to the left of the address bar

Actual results:

Firefox navigates to about:home, the built-in default home page.

Expected results:

Firefox should have navigated to http://example.org, the custom home page set by the user.
