User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:93.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/93.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open Thunderbird >> Tools >> Address Book
Select All Address Books
Select a contact
Select Edit
Select another contact
Actual results:
Notice the information in the edit view does not update with the new selection.
Also, canceling the edit does not refresh the information to properly show the new selection.
Expected results:
I would think that there would be a prompt to save the previous selection [Yes][No] and then refresh to show the new selection.
What about a way to stay in "edit mode"?

Hey qtrolazyg, thank you for caring for the new address book UX. We have eliminated the UX problem described by you in
Bug 1751290 - Lock the list UI when editing a contact
So the dialog is now modal. I suggest that you try the new UX in Thunderbird Beta.
