Preconditions:

browser.search.region FR
extensions.formautofill.supportedCountries FR
download latest Firefox Nightly with region locale (switch extensions.formautofill.available to "on" for testing non-Nightly builds)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Reach the payment form on darty.fr
2. Using autofill feature, select 1 saved CC entry.
3. Click on any auto-filled field and choose to "Clear Form".

Expected Results:

1. All autofilled fields should be highlighted (including expiry date dropdowns)
2. Expiry Date dropdowns should be reset to default value upon Clear Form

Actual Results:

1. Expiry date fields are not highlighted with the autofill specific yellow color.
2. Expiry Date dropdowns are not reset upon Clear Form

Notes:

Severity: S4 for the yellow highlight, although it would be nice if we could also reset the dropdown field (we manage to do this on some sites).
Reproducible on Chrome: Yes
Regression range: not a recent regression.

Testing on the latest Nightly 97.0a1 on MacOS 10.15 shows that we do highlight now the expiration dropdowns. However, we still don't reset them so adapting the summary to the current status.

Tested again on the latest Nightly 98.0a1 on macOS Big Sur 11.6 - the reset for the Exp Month and Year dropdowns is properly done.

However, I do see a highlight issue for the field that is in focus, there is no yellow highlight on the preview or after the field is autofilled and in focus. If I click outside the field then the yellow highlight is properly applied.

The autofill specific yellow highlight issue is no longer reproducible in Nightly 125.0a1 (2024-03-07). All the CC fields are now highlighted accordingly for both preview and autofill. The Payment form changed since this bug was filed and there is new issue with the autofill functionality that autofills only the focused field. I will file a separate bug for it.
As we agreed with the engineering team and based on this comment, we will mark this issue as fixed and verified.
