1743109 - Trying to change Preferences result in an abnormous memory usage and in a crash

Attachment: You can see the application is non responding and how much memory is using. I have 2 more pictures with the amount few seconds before and the final consequence.

Steps to reproduce:

Just open the Thunderbird Preferences from the scroll down menu and trying to access the General tab from the Composition section.

Actual results:

The application become unresponsive. Using the Windows Resource Manager I can see the amount if memory usage increasing continuously and reaching abnormous values, forcing me to close Thunderbird sometimes only possible killing the process.

Expected results:

Open the General section to change the preference I want to change...

Should be bug 1728744. Remove the langpack to work around it.

After removing Italian Language Pack the problem is solved
