User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:94.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/94.0
Steps to reproduce:
Open the file Example.pdf file provided in the zip archive.
The file was generated from the reMarkable tablet, but that shouldn't matter.
Actual results:
The grid lines are rendered quite thick, which makes it sometimes difficult to read.
Expected results:
Since both the default Ubuntu pdf viewer, Adober Acrobat for Android, Chromium and Google Drive render the lines much thinner I believe they should also be thinner in Firefox (screenshots of different platforms attached).

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Firefox::PDF Viewer' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:96.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/96.0
Hi,
I am able to reproduce the issue in release 94, beta 95.0b12 and latest nightly 96.0a1 (2021-11-29) on Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04 using the attached file.
Thanks for your input.

This is a regression from https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/pull/12869, so from the pdf.js update from bug 1691143.

I can't see any difference in the rendering after bug 1752574 (https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/pull/14491), so it looks like this isn't fixed yet.

The rendering for Calixte improved, so probably https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js/pull/14491 was at least useful to fix the bug for some users.

(In reply to Kenan from comment #9)
Marco, on Windows this is fixed for me, which OS are you using?
I'm on Linux. This might also depend on the resolution of the screen or scaling (I have a 3840x2160 screen with 300% scaling).

I can confirm that it is fixed for me on the beta snap channel: firefox (beta) 99.0b1-1 from Mozilla
I reproduced this issue on Firefox 98.0(20220304153049) on Linux x86_64(Ubuntu 20.04). Confirmed as fixed on Firefox 99.0b3(20220313185831) and Nightly 100.0a1(20220314094248) on Ubuntu 20.04, macOS Big Sur 11 and Win10 64-bit.
