User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/96.0.4664.45 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I updated to latest Thunderbird version 91.3.2 (32-bit) running on Windows 7 Pro.
Actual results:
The Thunderbird logo icon has disappeared from Windows 7 start menu, taskbar, and other shortcuts.
Expected results:
I expected the icon to appear. It's no big deal, new version seems to work nicely, but I just thought you might want to know.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Win32' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

This is a windows 7 bug. I recall having to delete the iconcache file a lot in older versions of Windows to fix all sorts of corruption issues. The net has plenty of how to articles on doing is. For example https://www.wikihow.com/Rebuild-the-Icon-Cache-in-Windows
In the absence of anything suggesting Thunderbird has a bug, beyond a statement that the icon is not correctly shown in Windows. I would suggest that the issue would be best fixed by rebuilding the relevant windows cache file.
