To provide better insight on usage and prioritization of additional feature work for AVIF generally, it's valuable to generate telemetry which can indicate when attempts are made to use features that haven't yet been implemented.
This builds on the work of bug 1696045 to add support for tracking the use of more unsupported AVIF features:
- Image sequences (see bug 1686338)
- Grid-based images (see bug 1696090)
- AV1LayeredImageIndexingProperty (a1lx), LayerSelectorProperty (lsel), OperatingPointSelectorProperty (a1op) (see bug 1712813)
- CleanApertureBox (clap)
- ItemProtectionBox (ipro)

Yes, Chun-Min Chang and Jon Bauman are responsible.
Using the category system of data types on the Mozilla wiki, what collection type of data do the requested measurements fall under?
Category 1, Technical.
Is the data collection request for default-on or default-off?
Default on for all channels.
Does the instrumentation include the addition of any new identifiers?
No.

Yes.
