174711 - Reply using plain text editor does not accept input initially

Using trunk build 2002101508 on Win2K. Reply to a mail message. Composition
window appears and the caret blinks on the top of the window, but no text
appears when trying to type anything. I can still Shift-TAB to subject field and
change it. Starts working when the window is left-clicked using the mouse.

Seeing this behavior on Solaris to with recent cvs builds.

Reporter please change Platfor/OS to "All" as i believe this
issue is generic.

This is probably a dup either of bug 173818 (if things are all right after the
first character; there's a reviewed patch in that bug) or bug 173769 (if the
condition persists).  I'm going to guess the latter.  That bug is stalled
waiting for someone with a debug build to be able to reproduce it, so hie
thyself over there if you think you can help ...
