User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/97.0.4692.99 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
I configured my existing gmail account on thunderbird , which had some filters with labels configured in gmail.
Thunderbird get everything (shows filter with the labels as folders in the imap folders structure)
But if I delete the filter in my gmail account, I have errors in Thunderbird
Actual results:
the filters (aka folders) I deleted in my gmail account configuration (online) are still visible in Thunderbird.
I have errors in Thunderbird (unknown source folder ) when I want to access or delete this folder
Expected results:
there should be synchronization between gmail account and thunderbird
or even the possibility to delete in thunderbird when already deleted in gmail account

Deleting a gmail folder delete's the label?
Thunderbird doesn't do folder discovery after it is started unless you collapse the folder/account group.
So you are seeing one of these https://mzl.la/35BSHdz?
Does https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1001946 help?

in fact, some filters finally disappeared after restarting tb/gmail but I had one filter on gmail that kept the full gmail structure (an old simple filter on my gmail address). It is now deleted on gmail but always appears in Thunderbird (see attached file)

I messed up my comment 1. My question really was "Deleting a gmail FILTER delete's the label?"

I don't know about your question because I deleted the label first (and the filter was then useless because it says it does nothing)
